As far as this thread, it was kind of surprising to see comments like how Braincase was "spouting off" after making a pretty simple comment, and all I knew was that you would take my comment just as serious as his.

I'd do something light-hearted like ban eazy from this thread for 30 minutes for his response, but then I'd have to hear about it for 2 months as if I Sanduskied him in a fit of rage and butthurt.
It's all good.

Dixon played the best man to man D I've seen him play all season last night. He really did a good job of keeping his arms out and running his guy to the corners when able. There were a couple of times where was almost single-handedly able to stop the ball.

What I noticed was that they were keeping their feet moving a little more. To borrow a football term, they were 'chopping' their feet even when their man was stationary a lot of the time. It appeared to help keep them on their toes better than in the past and keep their man in front of them.

I'm not sure if it's just the first time I noticed it, but they had much more 'active' feet, even when they weren't actually going anywhere.

Yeah - epic failure at trolling is pretty much what it amounts to.

The home crowd was all over you, so it's only natural that I got home cooking from the mods in the Mizzou thread.

Here's a great thread about the trials and tribulations of being an assistant to the coach of peewee girls' basketball.

Maybe next time they'll use a more experienced mod; one who is used to the pressure of a big time message board.

Your words, not mine.

I coach the kids to block shots, steal the basketball, try to draw charges. In my daughter's case, she leads her team in blocked shots, but that also leads to her getting called for other fouls relating to her defensive efforts. Also, when a player is trying to get into position to try and draw a charge - a difficult call to receive in youth sports, many refs go straight to the blocking call. Attempted steals lead to reaching in. It's part of the game. Technical fouls are to be avoided, but they happen. In the CYO league, if a player plays defense in the back court prior to the 4th quarter, they can draw a T. It's unfortunate, but sometimes all it takes is an errant pass that goes right into a players hands.

If it gives you satisfaction to exagerate my comments to ludicrous levels, I'll let it slide. I've come to expect it.

Your stupid comments stand on their own merits. Mizzou didn't play hard enough on defense in a game where they gave up 22 points at halftime, took a 35 point lead, and cleared the bench with six minutes left.

He's just a poor, misunderstood Beaker.

That's all they ever are.
