I thought prince put on a fantastic show at halftime
I am not a big Prince fan, personally, but I thought he put on a great show--certainly one of the best in recent SB memory.

That's what I learned when I saw him live. It's hard to explain, but he just said normal things and acted normal when chatting with the crowd (the show was "in the round and people were right next to the stage). Of coarse the Time opened up for him, and Jerome was just thorowing down....

I "grew up" during that era and loved all of his spin offs- Time, Shelia E., Apollonia 6, etc..

To each thier own I suppose, I also love Motley Crue and Poison, a hopeless 80's child!

I dont understand why so many disliked Billy Joels version, it was tastefully done IMO.

What i get tired of is everybody doing the "warbling bird on crack" versions with WAY too many histrionics & shrieking high notes.

Its nice to hear a simple, honest take IMO.
