I'm in my backyard on a beautiful day, drinking beer and smoking a few racks of ribs. I think I have just about perfected this art. I use a good dry rub that has ground cayanne, sea salt, minced dry garlic, red pepper and a little onion salt. My baste has some Johnny Red, olive oil, cajun seasoning, balsanic vinagar and fresh garlic. My beer has alcohol, hopps and has been kissed by angels.
My boy is hanging out with me. He turns 1 on Tuesday. My wife is mowing the yard in some skin tight jeans.
Life is good today, that is all.

In stores, now, the label is white? Haven't seen that.

I won't buy much of it, either, but I'm glad that it exists.

No, the white label was completely blank - from the brewery.

Its the same colors and font as Muehlebach Pilsner, a successful Kansas City beer from the early to mid 1990's. So successful, in fact, that Municipal Stadium, where the Royals and Chiefs first played, was originally named Muehlebach Stadium.

So its design is actually a very cool local throw-back.

They still have a functioning Hotel of the same name downtown unless I'm mistaken.

BBQ Loo and Blues Too was held this weekend. So for supper I had

- Three bones
- Baked beans
- Rib tips in a basket
- Pulled Pork sandwich

$20 feast. There was beer there, but I don't like beer that much. I had water from the drinking fountain.

Hey, we were there. I gnawed on some big turkey leg before that just got to be too much work. So I ate the b/f's chipotle pulled pork.
