The new system is going to take the burden off of the 39 year old QB. If Peyton Manning is the second thing you have to worry about (like Elway was with TD), then Denver will be absolutely unstoppable.

How is KC any different than they were last year? You get some guys back from injury, but so does everyone else. At the end of the day all you have to do is contain Jamaal Charles. Alex Smith and the rest of the Chiefs cannot consistently move the ball down the field.
