I find it somewhat ironic that the McCluster haters love Stanzi. Most Iowa fans didn't even think Stanzi was that good. They all got sick of his stupid ass mistakes.

I was thinking about this yesterday at TC, next year when the draft rolls around, where are we going to look at upgrading/replacing?

I know qb obviously, but other than that, you are essentially looking for an upgrade.

Maybe still NT?

My guess would be we see where we are weak at during the season, then see who's the best available around our area. Early guess would be ILB, Safety, QB... Positions we were looking at this year early but weren't able to address because those better players were already drafted.

I wouldn't say I can say with certainty where we are or are not strong.

But it seems like there are a ton of question marks.

The interior OL is very young and unproven. Lilja is very old and shitty.

Winston has given up some sacks the last two years.

Moeaki and Charles are big injury question marks (especially Mo, because his knee is going to be in danger around the line of scrimmage so much).

Baldwin is having a good camp, but man did he suck ass last year.

Bowe being out of the mix seems like a real clog in the machine.

I like the defense, but Routt really concerns me, especially since we're going to be in a lot of close games and he could be a guy who gives up a play here and there that really swings the balance.

Not sure about the NT situation, especially since they're pretty much admitting Poe can't 2 gap right now.

Stanzi is a complete question mark at this point. At this point he's just another 5th round bum.

Lol. Poe isn't the first NT to be drafted in the first round and not step right in. The Ravens did the same thing with Nghata. Who ironically is Poe's closest comparison coming out of the draft.

Where is the Poe stuff from? It's all he did yesterday when I was there, and Toriibio seems to be getting some praise there as well.

I'm not really worried about Winston or Bowe. They are veterans and pros, they will get it done.

The interior oline could go either way. COuld be a strength with Hudson, Allen, and Asamoah or could be a letdown.

I'd say the others are pretty accurate. Like I said the other day, every team has question marks, just that they have history of knowing how it will likely play out.

I'm anxious to see Moeaki and Charles.

I think I do remember some stuff about him being a pass rusher only early in camp, but it was from one of the dipshit twitter guys.

I'm trying to take that twitter stuff with a grain of salt, I tend to value my own opinions from my own eyes over some dipshit that likely never played football who happens to have a twitter account.

I would think its a good thing that we have a NT who can play in pass rushing situations? Since most don't. I don't see a problem with having an everydown NT. Or is his just upset we are having our rookie focus on one thing at a time?

Trying to do it, and do it effectively, are different things.

Romeo said the other day they saw him playing more on third down than first and second down early this season.

It's not just Bowe, it's Cassel + Bowe. Plus, Bowe has always been kind of a dumbass who doesn't line up properly a few times a year.

Can we throw out "made the Pro Bowl" and "well they won a playoff game last year, making them a good team" mantra.

Use the eye test for christ sake.

True. If that's the case Bowe needs to get his head out of his ass and get to camp.

Whether it be with the Chiefs or with someone else, he ain't getting a big deal next year if after however long he's been in the league, he can't figure out where to line up.
