Let's ****ing do this.

Last year was a one-of-a-kind, so let's hope the luck carries over to this year, with Brett Veach at the helm for the first time.

Rules:
1. No spoiled picks in this thread, all weekend. This means that as tweets are leaking picks a few minutes before the selection is announced live, you don't post it in this thread (ex: embedded tweets), reference it in this thread (ex: Joe Slapdick says it's McCaffrey to Tampa) or hint at it (ex: "it's a RB!").

I would have gone a different way myself, but I'm willing to trust the guys being paid to make these decisions. I fully admit that they know way more than me. The Chiefs have drafted pro bowlers in 7 of the last 8 drafts. That's pretty impressive. And many of those probowlers we're not viewed on this board as the right pick.

I mean yeah but I have to say that Veach didn’t draft those guys and most of these pro bowlers were on offense. But the Chiefs drafted really bad on defense the past few years.

I’m just not a fan of this draft at all. I’m sure I’ll change my mind if they play well but I’m ****ing underwhelmed right now. I mean we drafted a NT in the 3rd round FFS.

I'll say this about Veach's draft. Right now he's doing a lot of "outside the box" thinking with the particular selections. I only really like the Nnadi pick. The other two can **** off.

However, that shit reminds me a lot of Carl and Dick's drafts. Yeah, that kind of picking is how we got Jared Allen, but it's also how we spent a ****ing 2nd round pick on goddamn Kawicka Mitchell. It's how we wasted countless picks on Keyaron Fox, Julian Battle, Eric Downing, and countless others.

That's just who these picks remind me of. It's nothing more, nothing less. Not saying those guys will be epic busts. Just that Veach is clearly picking around the edges and addressing need, but he's also addressing the "wrong" need in many peoples' minds, and the names that he happens to be picking are not even close to the players that people really wanted at those positions.

NFL Draft 2018: Best players available on Day 3

On the third and final day of the 2018 NFL draft, all eyes will be on Central Florida’s Shaquem Griffin. The best story of the draft this year, Griffin remains available after 100 picks.

Griffin isn’t the only intriguing name still on the board. The third day of the draft also features a lot of good wide receiver prospects, starting with Equanimeous St. Brown of Notre Dame. He, Marcell Ateman of Oklahoma State and Auden Tate of Florida State are all big targets who can make plays on the outside.

Then there’s Michigan defensive tackle Maurice Hurst. Flagged for a heart condition at the NFL Scouting Combine, and since being cleared, Hurst has been free falling. But don’t forget the Atlanta Falcons stole Grady Jarrett in the fifth round. If Hurst truly doesn’t have a health issue, he can be the 2018 version of Jarrett.

There are also some good offensive linemen still out there, paced by Tyrell Crosby of Oregon. He’s a physical blocker who played left tackle but projects to the right side.
