It's either got to be one of them damn noodle houses or the Olive Garden. Personally I think it's probably the Olive Garden.

As far as places I have acually eaten at, Applebees. I always walk out of there pissed at the prices. Even after we use some sort of discount. What really ticks me off is any restraunt that does not provide one basic free appetizer. Bread, chips, anything.

Bucaa de peppo is a major suck factory. Anyone who eats there and likes it has no clue about Italian food.

Franchises at their best are merely decent, really most corporate food at any price point just tastes like salt...there's a slightly upscale Chinese chain named P F Chang that was a huge disappointment...bland food, no spice, no heat...i've had tastier take-out food for 1/10 the price...never again

I find Olive Garden a ripoff, but at least they've discovered there's more to Italian food than Red Sauce and White Sauce.

Yard House is a ripoff, but the beer selection damn near makes up for it.

PF Chang's sucks. They can't even get Sweet and Sour chicken right, that would be like Olive Garden screwing up spaghetti.

Those small tomatoes that look like plums are "Roma" tomatoes and are for making paste or sauces. I guess you could just eat them as well. The taste in a tomato is in the jelly like substance surrounding the seeds.

And for anybody living near the west coast...Islands....Islands has good burgers...but your 8 dollars does not...I repeat DOES NOT get you fries with your meal...if there's anything more unamerican than NOT getting fries with your burger...I havent heard it yet.

Yeah, I have to say for all the talking up it got, I REALLY hated PF Changs. I half attributed it to what I ordered [Szechuan chicken, a handfull of braised chicken chunks, some peanuts and some thai chiles, no sauce at all], as the others seemed very happy with what they got.
It was simultaneously the most expensive and worst Szechuan I've ever had.

No, there are actually "plum" tomatoes that are smaller than Roma's and shaped more like an actual plum.

yeah, the food was pretty....but it had no taste...I hate how bland most food is in this country...

Something tells me Baby Lee has an issue with me that has nothing to do with the Olive Garden or anthing posted in this thread. Either that or he is just on the rag. Either way much like the entree's at the Olive Garden I don't think we will get down to the meat of the issue.

Pretty much my complaint with their Sweet and Sour. The chicken was white meat, which is a bonus, but they skimped on the peppers, onions, and pineapple. The only "veggie" in abundance was some kind of candied ginger which completely overpowered the entire dish and made it inedible. Oh and the fact that it was S&S chicken with no S&S sauce.

I'm pretty blah on Applebees, but their 99 cent option to replace fries with a salad is the best deal in lunchdom.
Huge sald with spinach, egg, cheese, bacon, tomatoes, cukes. Big enough and filling enough that I usually just pack the burger up for dinner.
