Well that hour was one big waste of time. At least it confirmed to me that both Nick Wright and 610 suck.

So Charles was yelled at during a game? Then he was reportedly sulking after the game? OH NOES!!!! Obviously it means he wants out. And if he goes, the whole team will stop following Haley and go wherever Charles goes.

Again, we learned at 2pm today what we already knew. Nick Wright is and idiot.

Did Nick Wright actually speak to JC? Or is this another interpretation of video by a slack jawed sports radio wonk....

We would break every single season rushing record and it wouldn't be close...

Vick/Charles/McCluster and Jones? Holy shit...

I mean...our pass would be like a change up to that crazy ass ground attack. Think of the possibilities?

If our defense develops into a top tier unit which I think it can...

Vick, in my eyes, has three more top tier years...or at least he could...and we could be a Super Bowl contender...

I mean...Vick looks every bit as good as he ever did right now...people forget...he WON GAMES...he was a WINNER in the NFL...I think Jim Mora was TERRIBLE for him...

They tried to turn him into a pocket passer...it made no sense. Vick was really blossoming with Dan Reeves before his injury...and now he's had a complete reality check...he's fighting for that one last chance...

and damn, he looks GOOD this year...

and team him with our dynamic backfield...

I'm not saying we could beat the Colts...but damn...we'd be a top 3 AFC team I think...or we'd have that potential...

and all it takes is a good bounce or two when you're a top team.
Take an Ativan, because you are tripping balls.

He went 8-6-1 his only full year starting with Reeves.

His first year under Mora he went 11-4.

He also ran for more yards under Mora per season than he did for Reeves.

Or when he said Mathews would have 220 yards.

Then after the game I called him out and he called me a dumbass and said that he had actually said 120.

Then I posted the quote and somehow he "missed" my post.

Then look what happens when he got the ball, he only ran for a 60 yard TD. why he doesn't get the ball more is just baffling to me.
Because he's 5'10" and 190 lbs. Defenses are solid, fresh and ahead of the offenses this time of year. Because he's coming off a shoulder injury. Because you don't piss away a guy with that much talent in a rebuild mode, which the Chiefs are.

I'm pretty sure that the Chiefs coaching staff understands that Jones is on the wrong side of 30, especially for a running back, and understand Charles' talents but frailty (to a certain degree).

I'm sure that they also understand the limitations of Cassel and the offensive line. There's no way that they can't. They are also trying to work in McCluster and Moeaki to the offense while integrating both backs.

Last season it was Charles and nobody else. This year there are three new players who have the potential to contribute. If you want a balanced offensive team, it can't be just one guy or you end up with the Barry Sanders Lions.

Quote:
IMO, if Haley and the Chiefs don't want to use Charles, he should go elsewhere to a team that wants to use him. And if that happens, you can mark that down right next to trading Jared Allen and letting Rich Gannon walk as one of this franchise's dumbest moves ever.
They want to use Charles. They don't want to overuse him. Charles does have the talent to be the featured back and carry for 30 times a game. But that doesn't help the team in the long run, especially in this day and age of the NFL.

If Carthon did actually try to dress down Charles in an effort to try and motivate him, it's then on Weis and Haley to make sure that the perceived slight is addressed and everyone moves on. That's why you have a hierarchy in coaching, business, whatever. I'm sure this is already a non-issue in the locker room seeing how Charles has been the consummate team player and Haley seems to have a better finger on the pulse of the team.

Look, I'm happy we're 2-0. Ecstatic. But 2 wins where the offense was that ugly, will not lead to the playoffs. I know we have a ways to go till we're a legitimate contender, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be doing everything we can to win a superbowl with the players we have.

Bottom line is we would likely be 0-2 if we had nice weather on Monday night and played even an average team in week 2. If our offense was more effective, though, we would have not only won those games, but they wouldn't have been close. Jamaal Charles is clearly the key to igniting our offense and making life easier on our inadequate QB.
