I figured I would start a thread for this and see what happens....there seemed to be quite a few viewers on the board for this show the past few weeks.....I like the direction the show is taking so far......episode 3 tonight at 7 central on ABC....

I knew it would be a useless episode during the first flashback.... it was a classic Lost episode. I skipped through a lot of it, but from what I watched, it was 45 minutes of crap just to get to the point where we find out what the guy was doing in the bathroom a few episodes back, followed by a good ending.

I liked the idea, but they could have flipped back and forth between what they did tonight while giving us more on the much more important storyline... you know, how the guy is going to explain to his dad, who just showed up, why he blew up a submarine after spending 100 days on an island.

They do a great job of cramming so little content into so much time.

That was almost exactly what I said to my wife after it ended. There is an hour of complete crap that meant nothing to the entire storyline other than , oh my god, they buried them alive. WTF

I'm a big fan of the show and I like the fact that there are currently 59 different things going. However, the problem I have with all these friggin backstories, interconnections and such is that you quickly forget about some of the things from the past, especially seasons 1 and 2.

Things they've seen on the island, clues... little things. It's part of the magic, but it is maddening.
