So CP majority has decided on Jimmy Dean sausage, packet gravy mix, and pilsbury biscuits

My cafeteria at work swapped management (it's a licensed deal) recently and it's all good now. But...the last company...holy shit. They served "biscuits and gravy." I ordered them once a long time ago. The biscuits were from premade dough and the gravy was powder straight from a package. I have to admit that I lost my shit when they served it to me. They took it back without charging me and gave me a ten dollar credit towards another purchase.

Biscuits,
I use the recipe out of a 50's era Better homes and gardens cook book. Don't over work your dough. Gravy recipe depends on the sausage available. I sometimes add sage, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, cayenne etc. depending on the sausage, you have to adapt as you go. |

You can do ground beef just fine, but lamb is better. Really it's the spices and the bechamel.

Ever bought the grocery store made sausage? Every last one I have had sucks except hen house when I had one near me.
I grew up on RB RICE still like there sage but its hard to find. For the life of me I dont understand why Farmland is so predominate in the supermarkets that stuff is ground dick. |
