In the state of Kansas alone there exists National Championships, Final Fours, and BCS glory amongst three separate fanbases.

In Missouri?

I agree with you here. The state of panic with KK regarding KSU has grown quite quickly recently. He's attempting everything to group anyone in the Big 12 who isn't called "Texas" together as if they would all be "in trouble" regarding where they would land in case things broke down.

Schools like KU, OU and UT sit firmly in the top 25 of NCAA revenue. Schools like MU, KSU and Iowa State are well below this level and simply exist to facilitate the games for the bluebloods.

I feel bad for him somedays but he's entertaining. I'll give him that.

All of that "thunder" KU brings to the table, and nobody outside the Big XII(sic) wants you. No wonder you live in Bambiland in regards to Missouri and Kansas.

Schools like ku head for the life boats with no suitors if OU or Texas leave. Everyone knows this.

kansas has zero options and it's well known. Sinking or swimming with the most unstable piece of garbage conference in the power 5 is not a place I would want to be.

You guys are burying one of the funniest parts of his "idea" that he said he'd been thinking on for weeks.

By bringing in Colorado State, that would screw over Colorado for leaving, because now Colorado State would be playing programs like Texas, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame yearly, therefore making them a bigger draw.

Ummm... Who does Colorado share a conference with, again?

Are you really a blue blood when you have to remind people of that fact every day? Kind of like those fringe baseball HOFers who have to remind people every chance they get that they belong in the same place as Mickey Mantle and Ted Williams.

Do Kentucky, Duke and North Carolina have to send out reminders like that?

And really Louisville and UConn have both surpassed Kansas at this point and they are still behind the top 3 by a long ways in my eyes. UCLA will always have their distiction for so many in a row. Indiana has fallen off recently but they still have a better history. At this point Kansas is at best 8th, maybe 7th, of the "blue bloods". So congrats on that.

But hey, your 2nd best in your state so you've got that going for you.

I'm not sure Kansas has ever lost to Nebraska in the primary sport.
Ah yes. Thinking one game is representative of the program rather than the entire rest of the program's history. This sounds familiar.
