Nice try though...
Lol. If you were to go back and look at every spin or spun that happened on the track today I bet a caution was thrown. Even kyle was clear in the grass and got it going where he could have continued and they threw a caution. Jus sayin.

JFC I can't ****ing believe that. My heart was pounding and my hands are numb from clapping so hard. Jr has a 1.5 second lead coming to the checkered flag, and runs out after 599 3/4 miles. They played it almost perfectly and came up 500 feet short.......****in unreal. I've tried to get behind another driver, but my heart just isn't in it. Would be like finding another team to root for because the Royals and Chiefs have been horrible for years. Love my loveable losers. Can't help it.....just my guys.

So I'm driving home from work with the race on the radio, thinking with 20 laps left that this is gonna be EPIC with the 4 closing on the 16 and the 88 running them both down and the 17 faster than all of 'em and oh yeah the fuel mileage thing and then...none of those guys won it. Wow.

You gotta hand it to The Closer. I didn't even know he was in the race...

National Guard cars can't catch a break... First Indy 500 Hildebrand, driver of the #4 National Guard car, now Junior.

I do get the point about it being at the end of the race, but I also believe nascar badly wants to see JR win a race to help with there ratings. All you have to do is listen to the announcer give him plugs even when he's running in the back. I believe if kahne had a 4 car length lead over JR in going in that corner the flag man would have gotten the call.

Maybe I'm dumb, but if NASCAR really wanted Junior to win, wouldn't they have thrown the yellow immediately, thus freezing the field and making him an instant winner (assuming he could coast back to the line)?

EDIT: Wait, were they in the GWC or was that the last scheduled lap?

EDIT#2: Yeah, never mind. It was a GWC and he hadn't taken the white flag yet.

Looked like a GWC. The spin was at the restart. There would have been no reason to have thrown a caution flag during the white flag lap unless it was a phantom debris caution. JR usually gets them when he's about to go a lap down not for when he's going for a win.lol
