I'm still around, I just feel less motivated to post.

I don't know if it's because my business is going so well and I have less time, or if the subjects aren't as 'rich'

I will always be around though.

I don't like the name changes either. Although I've been around since the last year or so of the StarBB v1, I'm still about half lurker round here, and my job can force me to vanish for long stretches. Guess I'm just not clever enough to deduce when somebody goes AKA on us.

It was kinda odd in a way, the Planet started because the Star BB was censored to the extreme, while the Talkback Forum never was censored. I guess they were too busy with you guys to bother with us. After the Talkback was finally deleted from the server, I drifted to the newer Star BB for a while. Another oddity about the censorship is that while the first wave came here because of the censorship, I ended up coming here because they WOULDN'T censor the KCStar site. A certain group, that I will leave nameless, were being quite abusive and vulgar. One of them (the ringleader) kept talking about how horrible the Chiefsplanet website was. Since I didn't think much of his opinions, I figured that if he didn't like the planet, it might be alright so I checked this place out. I had a hard time keeping up at first, but I've been here ever since.

I remember some "good times" on the talkback forum--that was my first experience with internet boards. I don't remember much of what was discussed/said, but I do think I remember your user name on there (sadly, I can't remember mine--I know it showed my e-mail address or something, but I can't rememebr what else)...

I then migrated to the star board under the name "The Bird" (used the same one on the Denver Post and InsideDenver--the two of which eventually led to the Orangemange), I think that was before talkback shut down...

It's quite rediculous how long ago that was...

Was that the one called "Home of the Chiefs Board"? I think Phil was one of the mods. That's where I started way back when. Never did post on the Star BB, since it was in full meltdown mode by the time I found it.

Oh, that talkback forum. Yeah, if that's what I think it was I posted there, too. I remember one jackass in particular. Don't remember his handle, but I do remember long pages of this idiotic Donkey fan going klippity klop.

Oh yes, that BB was 'hacked' multiple times with idiot donkey trolls that would post a one letter thread hundreds of times over and over again. Initially the BB software wasnt set up to block that kind of spamming, so it was quite frustrating. The trolls were so bad--because the admins would rarely ban anyone--that that's when we developed the 'recipie' defense in the troll threads.

I'll never forget the time Gaz tried to discuss football with an idiot troll...that was hilarious to watch the futility of it all.

This place has never seen any trolls like that Star BB.
