Kent Babb: shakatak, I think you're stuck with him for a while. The bottom line of this thing is that Pioli makes the Hunt family a lot of money. I mean, a lot. And the Hunts look at this not just from a team loyalty standpoint but also as a company. That's understandable, because it's true. But, man, Pioli knows have to save/make money, and that gives him a cushion. Plus, Clark wants people to hang around for a long time. That doesn't make it right, in this case.

I have been saying it's the Hunt's for years. It's one thing to be loyal and keep the GM around for years, but it's another to make it all about money.

We will probably know sometime in the next couple months.

If he agrees to move on from Cassel, I dont care if he stays.

At least he has shown the propensity to try and put as many pieces in place for his quarterback to succeed.

yep, the main issue i have with Pioli is his forcing the issue with Cassel, if he admits Cassel cant handle the Starting QB role then i'm ok with him staying.

Why?

He's done a shitty job building this roster even apart from the QB position.

And he hasn't shown any ability at all to determine what makes a good QB. WTF do we want him handling that draft pick for?

I want him gone - period. He's done shit over the 4 years he's been in charge of this trainwreck. He can't find quality coaches. He can't assemble a quality lineup apart from the pieces he inherited. He had a lousy draft record in NE, a worse draft record in KC and he has no earthly idea what to look for in an NFL quarterback.

He sucks. He's just ****ing terrible. I don't want this ass-wagon to have any hand in this team going forward, regardless of what he does with the quarterback position. If he tries to draft a QB, he's just going to !@#$ it up.

I'm with this. If Cassel is gone, and we draft a first round QB, I don't care if he's here. However, if in April, Cassel's still being touted and we pass on a QB, not one person should show up at Arrowhead.
