I've been defending Omar, and already knew why he was good for this team. Some people are catching on

He's one of the worst regulars in MLB and we had to ship off a premium prospect to address his poor performance

Omar and his .500 OPS against righties is so important, no doubt

I loved the pick up last season but I have to admit, his bat had be down on him for most of this season. I was ready for Colon a long time ago but I am glad he is starting to put it together some at the plate.

Great point, GMDM has proven to be the best GM in baseball. Look at where we were before he took over and where we are now.

Based on where we are at the big league level, none obv. This is the best team we've had since 1980 and Dayton won't ever have a better one. I'd buy everything on the shelf too

So I tuned into the game after in the 5th, good thing the fireworks were in the 9th. I'm just so impressed we could pull out the win with Bauer dealing like he was. I thought it was just going to be one of those nights, especially after Esky hit into that double play in the 8th. Thankfully, the Indians stranded a bunch like they normally do.

Putting aside the 9th inning, I was most impressed with Madson. I don't know what it is, but every pitch he throws looks like a strike, he's really good at pitching around the edges without straying too far. And even when he threw one in the dirt, that turned out to be a plus because Salvy gunned down the runner. The innings Madson pitched were fun to watch.

I trust Madson more than Herrera and Holland this year. He's got great command and his changeup is every bit as effective as Holland's slider
