Yeah, I don't understand the Draymond Green hype. He doesn't score offensively and has trouble with good post up players. He's usually outmatched. Last edited by New World Order; 06-13-2017 at 09:45 PM.. |

Draymond needs more (way more) to be I. The hall. Not every good player for their gen goes to hall. He has to be a general too although talent, he's the fourth option and I'm sure they'll prob take iggy over him if the game was on the line. He's a good solid player that's it.

It is because he plays on a great team more than anything. Put him on a team that sucked no one would really talk about him.

It's possible, but borderline chances for him, IMO. And Draymond has a ways to go before he can be considered in Marion's class. And Marion once shut down LeBron in the Finals. |

Not even on Marion's level. Plus, Green turns the ball over a lot which is unusual since hes not an offensive player

I mean look at it this way - people are calling Chris Bosh a slam dunk, first ballot, no question HoFer and when you look at the rest of the inductees, it's hard to argue otherwise. But man, did you ever watch Bosh and think "that's a Hall of Fame player right there..." I damn sure didn't. Paul Pierce will fall in that lot as well. Pau Gasol, Manu, Vince Carter; guys like Dwight Howard and Blake Griffin even get some HoF discussion. The NBA HoF is a strange, strange animal to me. There are a lot of pretty good players that seem to make it and I guess it's because there are just so few players that actually play given the 12 man rosters.

Blake need more moments to even be thought of hall worthy. Pay will get in mainly due to championships and international play; for he longest time he was considered the most skilled big man

Joe Johnson is going to get genuine HoF consideration in a decade or so. And if he gets in, he'd be better than some guys that are already there. Dennis Johnson, Wes Unseld, Mitch Ritchmond, Chris Mullen, Jamaal Wilkes. The league occasionally gets a little too trigger happy on inducting guys. I'm not saying Draymond will get in, but it's not that farfetched. If he wins 2-3 more rings and puts up, say, 12, 7 and 6 averages over those seasons, you'll hear plenty of people talk about putting him in the Hall. Meanwhile in baseball, one of the 10 best centerfielders of all time couldn't even survive his first year on the ballot (#bitterEdmondsfan) I don't get it.

Though 'other than defense' is a bit disingenuous when defensive versatility is Green's biggest strength and something that NBA teams are just now realizing the value of. But no, I wouldn't consider Green a HoFer at all. But some will, especially if the Wizards win a couple more and Green continues to be a lock-down defender and do everything sort of offensive player (just goes out there and puts up solid numbers everwhere).
