Kansas didnt lose this game...Iowa State hit them in the mouth and took it. KU really needs to wake up and play better on the road. This team is two totally different squads in and out of the field house. Lets just hope this loss wakes them up.

It's a down year and we lack outside shooting, doesn't help when we can't rebound either. The entire game i saw 4 BOO U players in the lane for rebounds and maybe 1 or 2 of our guys. That isn't going to get it done.

Neither of hte top 3 teams in the conference are playing very well right now.

To win the B12, KU can probably afford two more losses this year as I figure 15-3 gets it done. Getting that record just became a lot more difficult after today, though, as they have three more real tough road games (@MU, @BU, @KSU). If they win next week at Mizzou, it will give them a ton of confidence for the next two.

Don't like the "down year" excuse anymore from earlier in the year. KU is legitimately one of the best teams in the nation this season and still the B12 favorite. Sure, they don't have a bench, but the starters struggled and didn't bring enough effort today. If they play their best, KU wins this game.

It looked like to me that if KU really wanted to they could've taken over. Both teams went on a "no you can have it, no I insist you can have the game" 8 minute suck fest. That's what is disappointing. They slept walked and thought they could win. Definitely not their best effort.

I agree the starters could have played better, they certainly didn't put forth any effort to rebound and insisted we punch it inside with 4 Boo U players in the paint all day. Like it or not this is a down year, we all knew it headed into the season especially with 2 recruits ineligible. It is what it is and when we can't hit the ocean from the outside and don't give 100% effort we are vulnerable.

15-3 will win it out-right, but 14-4 will get a share and possibly win it out-right as well IMO. Mizzou and Baylor both have more than one loss coming up on their schedules.

Yeah...wouldn't be surprised if 14-4 did the job either. But we have to assume at least one of MU or BU will play very well going forward.
