Preparing for Geno Smith's Arrival In KC Checklist

1. [X] Lose games and acquire the #1 overall pick
2. [X] Get Pioli and the Patriot Way cronies the **** out
3. [X] Hire new GM/coach

OPTIONAL (but highly recommended):
4. [ ] Re-sign/tag Bowe, who really wants to play in KC with Geno
5. [ ] Re-sign/tag Albert

It appears to be a waste of time to discuss this with you, but Klein at 5 in mid/late September is where most folks had him.

I still like Geno because of his arm strength and accuracy, and his ability to be aware in the pocket, but his last few games have been disheartening to a degree, I'm not gonna lie.

At this point, no GM is going to take Geno #1 overall. What are you going to say when Mayock ranks him as the 4th QB?

I want whoever proves to be worthy of the selection. I don't play favorites. If the pick happens to be Barkley, I have no problems with that. Being a Geno fan doesn't mean you can't like others as well.

My biggest concern is his footwork. He seems to have the same type of footwork as Cassel, where he has happy feet and is continuing to do this fadeaway thing. He doesn't plant and commit well.
