I think they'd love his ability to complete passes down the field off PA.

With what little information we have, the top QB at the moment appears to be Geno. Obviously that may change after the combine and the days leading up to the draft. You're mad at people for expressing favoritism towards a player that, from what info we have, appears to be the best at his position? Well shit....i guess we shouldn't form an opinion till after the combine then. |

Just go watch his games that have been made easily available via youtube and judge for yourself. I wasn't a Geno fan either because I was a dumbass that listened to the media. I went and did my own research of the QB's and can easily see that Geno is worth the #1 overall pick to THIS FRANCHISE. Tyler Wilson is also pretty damn good. I'm sure you've watched enough of Barkley. Glennon is a joke though, you can watch that yourself as well. |

i just pointed out that this: "Once coaches and GM's are routinely fired for reaching and over-drafting quarterbacks, the madness will end" is premised on the faulty logic that there is something riskier about drafting a QB than say a LT...and it isn't true it is just assumed to be true because the operative assumption about QB's has been - forever - that they're 'risky' not drafting a QB in the name of value, or risk, or whatever is not an inherently smart, high-minded, choice....it's just a choice, and one that is every bit as likely to lead to failure as drafting a QB would... but this fallacy persists...mostly because people think they're being reasonable espousing it...vesus those "crazy, obsessed" people who want a QB

I don't know that Geno will be the top prospect come draft day. Personally, i've always favored Wilson, but i think there is plenty to like about both prospects. The fact remains, QB is by far the weakest position on this team, and it is by far the most important position in the NFL. The Chiefs are in a prime spot...for the first time ever, to pick whichever QB they feel is best. |

It's the overall tenor of this place, it's COMPLETELY polarized to the point that everything just becomes a shouting match to see who can be loudest. The original discussions of Geno were ALWAYS reserved. And the BlackBob and his band of mults showed up with the "he sucks, you guys are stupid" routine. People tried to ignore it but the mults kept coming and eventually everybody succumbed to it. |

There are teams that are smart and draft QB's to groom and either use or trade. And then there are teams like the chiefs who attempt to work with other teams scraps while they rotate through drafting OT's and Dlineman. |

I think even the Geno/Wilson supporters understand that these guys aren't guarantees. So what. I'd rather take the risk on the most impactful position in the game then take a DT, because he's a little less risky. Chiefs have been doing that for years. |

Your opinion will be incomplete because there will be information missing for the proper evaluation to have been made.

But, that doesn't mean we can't make an early assessment with what info we DO have. Opinions are always subject to change. |

If Dorsey and Reid think that drafting a bust will piss off the fans, just wait until they pass on a stud.
