Again, who gives a shit if the Bills go all the way? We PREFER that they DON'T. That means a higher draft pick for us.

You all will probably think I picked up a pipe today, but I got to thinking...

I was thinking today about dallas when Jones took over. They had been in 3 consecutive losing seasons and went from 3-13 in 88 to Superbowl champs in 4 years. Their seasons were...

89 1-15
90 7-9
91 11-5 Playoffs
92 13-3 Superbowl Champs

Now, our braintrust is nowhere near what Dallas had. But that could change and the new braintrust will have a lot of young players with upside to work with. We are year two into a youth movement that should start to mature and start to really shine in the next 2 years.

A number of reporters say that Tony has another 3-4 good years left. What if Tony gets traded to a "Contender" who gets knocked out early in the playoffs this year, we start come into our own next year and actually make it to the SB before Tony?

I know it's a dream, but what if?

Then,

That's the part I'm still struggling with. Tony deserves this, Tony deserves that...

Tony could be using his influence to be the leader on the team that pushes the other players on the field for a higher level of play. Yesterday I saw Terrel Owens (I know, I know, nobody cares about loudmouth Terrel) jump on the center at the sidelines for standing looking at the fumble and not jumping on it. It would be nice to see Tony doing more of that instead of pouting about stats and the lack of glory.

Probably not popular, but it's how I feel.

TG is exactly the type of player the Bills are missing. We have a great young QB in Trent Edwards, a great RB in Marshawn Lynch and host of other great talent on the offensive side of the ball. Lee Evans, Roscoe Parrish, James Hardy, Fred Jackson, yes Fred Jackson. The Bills are currently 1 game up on the Pats/Jets and 2 games up on Miami. The Bills are a team Tony can help not only this year, but next year as well. The Bills are a team on the rise and we desperatley need TG in our offense.

Thanks for listening, and Go Bills!
Mainly we don't want him to go to a conference rival, but he'll be gone by the time we don't suck anymore, so I guess it doesn't matter.

I'm fully vested in the he-deserves-better camp, so I just hope he wins wherever he goes. I have no strong feelings towards the Bills one way or another.

I like Tony, he's been great for the team, but the trade needs to benefit the Chiefs. All of this, he needs to go to the most prominent SB contender is hogwash. We need him to go to a team that goes 9-7 or 8-8 and loses in the first round. The idea is to IMPROVE the CHIEFS, right?

In the long run it should be better for the Chiefs. Herm may be a gawdawful HC, but the drafts we have had since he was hired have been pretty good.

We need more picks... we need more players at many positions. By the time this team is ready to compete, Gonzo will be retired. Better to stockpile players and add much needed depth than to hang on to a guy for sentimental reasons.

When we turn the team over to a competent HC/staff in a year or two (hopefully sooner, rather than later), I want a deep, young roster. Something they new HC can work with for many years.

yeah. Would hope he can win this year somewhere with a strong NFC team.... but that doesn't look like a possibility...

Bills would be fine as contender. Win SB there? I doubt it.

oh... and the whole Montana concession thing there hmmm... still NOT a Bills fan.

Interesting to see him in RWB #88 jersey on 11/23 at Arrowhead as a Bill.

He'll get a good reception if anybody shows up to watch.

I'd rather trade him to StL and get another top 10 pick to go with the one we will earn for ourselves.

Think about it, if we trade away every player that "deserves to be on a better team than we are" then there are several others that could say they deserve to be elsewhere too.

Like it or not, Tony is a part of this bad team. Tony could have tried to make this team better, but he's instead chosen to think only of himself, start complaining, create a distraction, and give a bunch of young players that look up to him an example to follow that is detrimental to the concept of team.

I like Tony, I really do. I am disappointed in him right now though. And if he's going to be traded, it should be for a pick(s), the other team should be sending us picks that equal in value the player we send them.

If he suits up for the Titans game, I don't think it's going to happen. I'm not sure when the trade deadline is.
