I wonder what the track record is for head coaches who leave the Browns and HC elsewhere? We got Marty and Belichick that I know of. Probably meaningless, but failure as a Browns HC doesn't gaurantee failure elsewhere. I'm hopefull that RAC will keeping improving our team. Seems to stand up to Pioli as well.

Romeo is actually a fine hire. This is the worst crop of coaches I can ever remember. Bad year to be looking for one, but he made a lot of sense.

Giving up picks for Manning and his injury is foolish. Insanely foolish.

With Luck in Indy, if Manning was traded to another team, he'd have so much of a chip on his shoulder I doubt the neck injury would factor in. Not to mention , with the success he's had with a crappy supporting cast in the past, Imagine what he could do with Baldwin, Breaston and McClsuster. If we could keep Bowe, that would be a plus. That O with our emerging D!!

I know this is stuff of fantasy but it's not the first time I have gone online to fantasize.

How did you come to this conclusion?

He also said that Orton is the reason he was hired as a HC.

He said the usual things about Cassel "We won with him, he got us to the playoffs". He won't flame him because he might need him if the Orton route does not work.

I think it's almost 50/50 with an edge to Orton.

That's what my friend told me the other day, forgot to factor that in.

Oh and congratulations to Romeo! I wasn't one of the people ready to throw Haley under the bus, but if we had to make a change, I'm glad it went to Crennel.
