****Official Royals @ Rangers Gamethread 5/14****

I guess this is as good of a game as any for my first gameday thread. I hope I don't screw up the victory.

Let's hope Guthrie can build on his last start and get our starting pitching woes turned around. Here is to a series split and a little momentum going into our next series featuring two divisional first place teams.

I've got the weirdest bone right now.

You really need to get back into Fanduel. When time allows, at least.

EXACTLY!!

Ned proves his stupidity once again. And should we hang on for the victory, that will just add fuel to it. Next thing ya know, he'll rest Hosmer, Gordon, and Moose for the same game.

Yeah, I understand about how the game went down on Monday. Got in at 6:00 AM Monday; everyone's tired; just play the game out; take the loss; try again the next day. IMO, that was the day to rest Perez. But don't give up on a get-away day by resting two starters and hope for the best. Play to win that day's game. Ned could have rested either starter yesterday.

It's maddening to hear his "what-me-worry?" comments after losses with his weak explanations and poor excuses for his decisions.
