Will 9-11 help the Jets this Sunday?

Its a pretty emotional day for New Yorkers... Think it will be extra motivation for them? This is the first Sunday to fall on 9-11...

This will be the first 9-11 that I won't feel sorry for them... well just Jet fans. Im still saddened by the whole 9-11 deal... but that isnt gonna mean shit come kickoff.

you may wan tto think before you speak. cause you are looking really stupid with this post. i guess you've never heard of joe namath and his superbowl guarantee. if you knew anything about the chiefs you'd know that they won superbowl 4. the year after the jets won superbowl 3.

Most of the time I am just your average idiot, some times I cross over to the complete moron group. This would be one of those times. I don't know what the fuck I was smoking.... I sat here before typing this and thought about past SBs, and the only "NY" team that came to my mind was the Giants. Then it donned on me while I was in the kitchen making a sandwich. OK, so it has been one more year for the Jets than for the Chiefs since their last SB victory.

And now that that is out of the way, WHAT THE fuck WAS THAT 'SERVER IS TOO BUSY AT THE MOMENT' SHIT I JUST EXPERIENCED TRYING TO GET BACK INTO THIS THREAD TO CORRECT MY STUPID SELF? I thought that issue had been cleared up???????

"Backtracking"? Calling myself a moron is "backtracking"? I suppose if you wanted to get technical you could call it that, but I think 'fessing up to an obvious and stupid error works even better. Backtracking sounds like I was trying to come up with some excuse other than my idiocy for the post.

But to each their own.....

What kills me is that you clowns have the stones to even make tasteless remarks about 9/11. While NYC was smoldering, which went on for over a month, the Giants had to play their home games, with the smoke from our country's terrorist attack, as a backdrop.

Crashing Jets? Thats just horrible. Especially coming from fans of the NFL's worst team in preseason this year. To even think your team holds a candle to the Jets is dilusional. Your roster is a mess. So what if its preseason, your 2nd stringers don't even stack up against our 3rd stringers. And to think whatever you have left for a team, is gonna get close points to our starters, OMG. Probably the only advantage you guys will have is home field. Making noise is all KC fans are good for.

Just like our time zones, your team will always be behind us. Enjoy the game, especially you tasteless fools.

BTW Blaylock is gonna romp your D hard. And don't think your #1 ranked O will get off the ground, we have 3 probowlers on D that will assure that.

Hey Richard - that comment you're referencing came from one asshat that nobody cares for. Don't ask me why he wasn't banned, I'm not a mod.

And quit you're ****ing crying about 9/11. We were ALL affected by it and knew people around it, not just the holier than thou from Joisey. I went to the Chiefs vs. Giants game right after 9/11, and I can say without a doubt the Giants got every bit the ovation that the Chiefs did. Giants players even applauded the crowd after the game for making them feel so welcome.

And for your takes on the game, I hope your caoching staff and players come in here thinking it's going to be a cakewalk. That'll be all kinds of entertaining. You got your chest stuck out pretty far for a team that had to take a Marty Schottenheimer team to overtime to beat in the playoffs.

Jesus, Sunday can't get here fast enough.

It came from one fan, you idiot. Get over yourself. While NYC was smoldering, the Giants were playing home games in another state. You arrogant east coast douchebags don't have the market cornered on patriotism, suffering or service, especially when watching a friggin football game.

And unless the Jets suddenly switched personell with the Patriots, you ain't shit on the field, either.

Go away.

I have lost all respect for KC fans. You guys are tasteless and your knowledge of football is minimal. You guys live in a backwards state where crime and incest is the norm. New York is the mecca of the world in business, money, diversity, etc. Missouri is nothing but a rundown, backwards world. So go ahead, make an insulting response to my post, the fact is I live in NYC while you guys live in Missouri, haha. No matter what happens sunday, I get the last laugh over you poor, farm driven incest made rednecks. BTW, Jets 28 Chiefs 20 :-) Have a nice day

Of course. When the Jets are starting the third quarter our guys will just be starting the game. How can we hope to win if the Jets are playing 11-on-0 football for half the game?

And you know when the Jets leave the field early, our guys will just choke during our portion of the 11-on-0's.

Unbelievable. A New Yorker dropping "crime and incest" smack talk on a Chiefs board, only to follow it up with the climactic "poor, farm driven incest made rednecks" blast? I would be embarassed if this was all I had to offer in smack. What a tool.

Yeah, enjoy dropping down 4 grand on that 800 square foot apartment every month, jackass. Haha. Go see Cats again, or something.

I'd imagine they've had too much roster turnover for it to matter that much to the Jets players.

Nopitlimit or wuheva is a douche. This started out as a legitimate question, will 9-11 elevate the Jets and give them any advantage... I figured it would bring a few Jet fans in... but i didnt figure the douchebaggery to ensue.

At least Skip Towne approves this thread, right Brian? heh.

nolimitpk was banned the moment a mod (endelt's mod powers are temporarily broken) saw his distasteful post. But he wasn't banned just because of that post. He was banned because he has 75 posts just like that one. We don't babysit on this board. We let adults talk and sometimes it becomes adversarial. That's entertaining for some people. It's part of the charm here. But, that guy was an idiot. There's no place for his bullshit on ChiefsPlanet.

Before you Jets fans paint we Chiefs fans with the nolimitpk brush, find an article about Chiefs fans donations at the stadium during the Giants game last year.

Ewwww.... tough talk from George Costanza. He may live in New York but apparently he doesn't get out much if he thinks crime's worse in Missouri.

BTW, I have good news and bad news for you. The good news is that New York City is no longer the filthiest spot in the western hemisphere. The bad news is that it took another city being flooded with 10 feet of raw sewage to knock you out of first. Barely.

And a final thought for all of you arrogant metrosexual knoblickers who think the world begins and ends in New York City and that the rest of the country is nothing more than a vast wasteland that you see from the plane window on the way to Los Angeles - without us, you'd starve. Without you, we'd just pay lower taxes.

Time for your manicure now, sweetheart. Run along while the men talk about football.
