Where in the world is Rainman San Diego?

Is this cool or what? My in-laws had us over for dinner last week as a belated birthday dinner for me. They then mentioned that they've acquired like a zillion frequent flyer miles and want to take a trip. They're taking my wife along, and I get to tag along, too, since someone needs to carry luggage and stuff.

They've given us the following locations to choose from. Where do we go? Where do we go?

(Background: my in-laws are in their 70s, but in very good shape. Even so, they're not into a whole lot of walking or anything, so we can't do a real high-impact trip. If we go international, I'll kind of be the point man, I figure.)

It's times like this when I'm glad I've already got an mp3 of that song on my computer.

"The warrant

Oooooh the chief
Oooooohooooohooohooooooh the chief
Monday through Friday at five!"

I think the in-laws are most interested in France or Hawaii, and Hawaii is the only place out of their choices that they've visited before.

I've never been to Hawaii, Italy, or Switzerland out of their choices, and any of them would be nice. I've spent a grand total of one day in Germany, so essentially I've never been there, either. I've been to France a couple of times, but would easily go back, and I've never been to the Riviera.

I'd like to get them to Europe just because I think they'd like it, and Paris is a great place for them (easy to get around, and lots of stuff that they like). I'm leaning toward suggesting France, even though Italy would probably be my selfish top choice.

Does the Riviera have topless beaches?

My wife loves that show. Yet she derides me when I watch Cops. Women are such a mystery.
