Whats a matter sec... Afraid I've put the kibosh on your team?
I've got the Hawks (+4) tonight as well as a prop bet on Kitna not throwing an INT. I'm thinking KC sees a steady diet of Watters and Alexandr this eve. |

Bronco fan, I would not hold your breath for a seahag win this evening. The Chiefs I'm sure remember what happened last year with the seahags and I think what you'll see is a little payback tonight. Actually what I mean is they will be walking right into a bee's nest and they dont even know it. Revenge is a dish best served on a RED plate.

Senator Dole, are you and Morph hooking up at the game? I was hoping I would get to meet you guys. Jeff has all the info on where I am going to be tailgating at and my cell phone number. Hopefully we'll get to meet!

KC ... I never said a Chiefs' loss tonight would erase anything that has happened this year.
Denver is getting bashed for losing 2 at home this year. Well, KC lost to Indy at home and if KC loses tonight, that will be twice. That's what I'm talking about ... as well, 2-3 will be the record for both times. Sure, KC will hold the 'edge' in that 2-3 matchup. But, that's all I'm talking about. Yes, Denver has to play them twice still. I encourage my team to talk my smack for me, but I do what I can. |

Holy ****! What the hell was that?
That game really hurt. The KC game was bad because it was a loss... to KC nonetheless. But the game Sunday was a complete disaster. Why? Playing like crap for 2 weekends in a row is not just bad luck! That is just plain ****ty football. Our D is every bit as bad as everyone thinks they are. Not only are we constantly confused, we don't play with heart or intensity! The only player on the Defense that played well was Al Wilson... he is good. Our O thinks that driving 80 yards only to get stopped at the 5 yard line is OK. What the hell is wrong with our red zone offense? And I don't care how many catches Rod Smith and Ed have, they both dropped easy catches which ended up stalling 2 different drives. And what the hell is with all the penalties, that is just embarrasing. On the other hand, Griese is one of the best qb's in the league, I am very impressed. I can only hope that we pull ourselves together. That was some sad **** sunday. Hurt me just to watch that display. If I were Shanni, heads would roll. |

quote:
I didn't see anyone wishing the NE loss on Denver and the only people that correctly predicted it on this board were Fader fans.

I didn't see the pick 'em on this board, but I did pick NE at the Yahoo! site. And I am most certainly not a Faders fan, thank you much. BTW, That bit of clarivoyance was negated by [along with my plain-old wrongheaded picks] a slip in my Pittsburgh over Jacksonville pick. Coulda' swore I picked Pitt, that was my intent. c'est la vie. |

MHM,
But once again, the expectations of the opponent would come into play a little bit. We have been by what some would say is the best team in the AFC and if Seattle (don't think it will happen), picked by several to contend in the AFC west, beats us it would have been expected by the majority of the papers. But to lose to NE @ home? Who knows what is going to happen, if I did I would be rich from playing the lottery or winning at the track. It is all good clean fun.... ------------------ bk |

I know it's all fun, believe me... but, who picked Seattle to do anything? Seriously, I missed that in several mags.
