My left hand quit working - Page 2

It was that way when I woke up this morning. I have feeling in my hand and can move my fingers. I must have had a mild stroke during the night. i can feel my arm but it is like it belongs to someone else. It won't do what I tell it. I am typing this one fingered. This is shitty.

Skip, if you have insurance, it's not going to be 14K. You need to think about your own safety here....it's just money.

Well, it's up to you, Mr. Skip Towne. But, Mr. chief52 is right. If it is something, the longer you wait, the more damage that can occur. Permanent damage. And, if it isn't anything, it won't cost you 14k or anywhere close to that amount.

Besides, they probably have cute nurses and they might give you some good drugs.

Consider reconsidering.

Well, upon reading that more, it very well could also be a pinched nerve. I know that back in 2003, I had serious numbness in my left shoulder all the way down my arm, pain, etc. After having it basically massaged out, it was fine. Of course, I am not Skip's age, heh.
Come on dude, they won't charge you 14k to have a look, geesh!

Years ago I had an 18 year old cousin who was in high school... He was in perfect shape... Played football, basketball, and ran track... Didn't smoke or do drugs at all...

One day at school his arm and neck became sore, then he complained his chest was heavy... He didn't say anything to anyone for 2 days...

When he did tell someone on the third day --- we were at his funeral 4 days later...

You don't play a game with life... You'll never win !!! Something so mild to start with could have been prevented...
