What is your greatest sports accomplishment that you achieved?

Just like the subject states. Lets hear your accomplishments.

Did you score over 40 points in a basketball game?

Four touchdowns in a high school or college game?

Have you directly affected a close outcome in a game: blocked a field goal attempt, tackled someone before they scored a td, hit the game winner with a full count in baseball, etc etc

By the way, scoring on my mom doesnt count

I lived in a small town and we only had 9 kids on the team so I refused to quit playing or my buddies would have to forfeit.

That was in the bottom of the 1st inning. I went 3 for 4 that night with 3 RBIs.

It's either that or being involved in the great pushball war of 89 during our battalion field day. Nearly 30 people went to the hospital that day for various sprains, dislocations and broken bones.
You are definitely my new sports hero.

It's a tie:

In 6th grade, I kicked two home runs in a kickball game.

Freshman year of high school, I hit a game-winning jumper from the right corner in gym class basketball. An opposing player, who was on the varsity basketball team, said "nice shot" when I let it fly.

Pathetic, I know. Those who can, play. Those who can't, become sportswriters.

I have to reach way back...I went undefeated in the 110m hurdles in 7th grade track & field.

Another comes to mind. While playing sandlot football, I flattened a varsity player from our highschool when I was a smallish JV'er. That was fun. Not too many people liked the guy. My best friend had him around the legs and held him up for the kill. Good times.

I kicked a full court shot in PE class my senior year of high school. Kicking the basketball in the gym normally led to a trip to the principal's office and a 3 day suspension from class, but the teacher couldn't keep from laughing and let it go. Nothing legendary, but i still think i'm cool cause of it.

Most recently I made the winning shot in a close-contested sudden-death battle of beer pong during Beerlympics this past summer.

Wrestling in College. I broke my leg in my 4th match and quit the team....but just wrestling at that level....

As the lead off batter, I batted 1000 in college intramurals, until the championship game when I went 3 for 4... not bad for a 10 game season....

I once won a local golf turnament and yea so Z flight still counts.

I scored several touchdowns in high school but they were all in the back of my chevy ( probably doesn't count)

Shining moment: Drank a 30 pack while watching the chefs kick butt

I won the Wichita International Raceway season points championship in 1988.

And for those of you that say Drag Racing is not a sport, I disagree. Winning depends on reaction times to the thousandth of a second. Stamina is extremely important to be successful in Drag racing, both physical and mental stamina.

I once drank a case of Dr. Pepper and watched the entire V miniseries (both) without moving from the couch (except to change tapes)... no bathroom breaks.

I also farted so hard once it made the house shake. Me and some buddies were in a house... I was sitting on the floor and let loose. One of my friends on the couch across the room goes, "I felt that!"

Nevermind... not sports.

I'm sticking with the lowest score possible in bowling and winning money at putt-putt.
