You know the Chihuahua has been nicknamed the Mexican pitbull. Those little bastards are just as aggressive.

LOL yeah.
After yesterdays pitbull thread I shyed away from this one yet couldnt resist.
I also thought here we go again..then I saw the dog with the heart mark..then read a reply or two & I was like WOW WTF am I that buzzed.

To those that were about to jump on the Pit bulls are agressive I warn you to only jump on that wagon if you want 100 flame replies calling you out for being a complete pussy because its the ****OWNER***** that makes many pit bulls mean Not the breed itself.
& the fact that its easy for a BAD OWNER to turn a pit bull mean also means your Completely off base for saying Pit bulls are remotely more violent than many other breeds cause its the ****OWNER****

I never went back to the pit bull thread after about 5:00..I noticed about 45 new posts so I figured I'll just stay far from there.

After I posted though I came to a little half way ground on the fact that it usually IS the ***OWNER***

I'll tell you a little story about two fish I once owned that I kept in different tanks.

In one tank was a Beta who I played with & fed often....changed its tank all the time keeping it spotless.
It was so friendly it let you glide your fingers down its body & pet it..what a nice fish.

In the other tank was a Gold fish who I must admit I wasnt very nice too.
I used to forget to feed him & hardly ever took care of his water.
My kids would tap on the glass & make fun of him etc..
Well one day I went to change the gravel in his tank cause it was scary to look at & Goldy came at my hand FAST I had no time at all to react & Goldy toook the tip of my finger clean off Goldy had to be pulled off by my wife who was screaming at the top of her lungs for help for anyone within ear shot.
My neighbor got there & he was able to wrestle Goldy off..finally.

So I do hear you all when you say its the ***OWNERS*** fault not the breed.

I was a horrible ***OWNER*** to goldy & deserved the attack on myself.

PS: this is just meant as humor I love all animals every breed theres is etc..this includes Pit bulls..though I'm not a Fan of toy dogs..especially those with Heart marks!

heh

That arguement!!

We have one, on my wife's insistence. If she were bigger, she'd have to be on a leash or in a kennel...little bitch.

I read that in the wild, the Chihuahua are dessert dwelling pack hunters...imagine being taken down by like 50 of those little bastards all gnawing away at you...yech.

I actually also read that in the Mayan\Incan\Aztec culture (don't remember which one) they would use them to test if a person was evil or something like that. They would cut the person open and shove the dog into the stomach...and then the dog would claw and eat it's way out. If the person survived, they would be declared clean or something like that. I'll have to see if I can find more on that, but it was something we read in a dog magazine when she got the dog.

...double yech.

Fun fact: If you hold a Chihuahua upside down, it looks like a fruit bat...pisses my wife off every time I do that...

i'd let a well behaved pit around children before i let any Chihuahua. those little shits are mean.

and for those that don't think lack of proper training is the issue with pits, i suggest you watch the dog whisperer on the national geographic channel. the guy has approximately 60 dogs, many "aggressive" breeds, that are so gentle, they wouldn't harm a kitty

I haven't seen anybody the quality of delt, let alone the quantity.
