Am I the only one that is like, "yeah, whatever" about this season?

For the first time in ever I've been like, "um yeah" about the Chiefs. Usually I would have read every single article, etc, etc but it has been hard. I honestly don't feel like we'll be good and all the years of mediocrity have taken their toll. I have accepted that there's nothing us fans can do about it, but yeah, it's hard to root for losers, but I will always do so, it's just been harder this season so far. Hopefully it'll change next week with the first game and all.

IMO this is a rebuilding year...7-9 at best. Unless a few other teams we play stumble. We need to count on a bunch of "Arrowhead Magic."

I used to go on the training cmp website and read everything, but no this year. Sort of weird. Ic ant wait to get going and see this team, but I have a feeling we are looking at a 6-10 year, so...

Like another poster said...watch this be the year we win it all. That wouldnt bother me

yea ...... the apathy has been building over the years.

i don't even know every player that's currently on the roster. I used even know the scrubs.

heck ... i don't even know all the coaches

i had to look up the schedule the other day to see who our first preseason game was against.

i imagine i'll get more into as soon as they start actually playing games.

you know how I know you're gay? Because you're not excited for Chiefs football. Is there no better place to be on Sundays, than outside/inside arrowhead? I always think we have a shot, sure it might be a long one, but come on. Let's give LJ his much deserved money and go out and stomp down the AFC west.

Did someone ask for a new dumbass?

Why is it that most of the new posters with numbers as part of their user name have the intelligience of an amoeba?

I'm with ya to a point, especially with your thoughts on Carl. IMO, the Chiefs are yet again building an incomplete team - this one favors defense. I know it's only Herm Edwards year II, but I have this feeling that when he's finished, we'll have a team that will play so conservative on offense, that far inferior teams will be only a play away from winnning the game on any given Sunday. And, if we get behind early to the good teams, we'll have no shot at beating them. We've all been down that road before...

As a result, I choose not to invest any of my emotions like I have before. Whatever happens - happens.

Woohoo! Another AFC West crown! I'm sure the Colts, Patriots, and the rest of the Super Bowl winners will be jealous.
