I don't get it....I understand he was voted as a captain. Yet Herm is saying they don't know who the starting MLB will be.

Why do you have to be a starter to show good enthusiasm, good work ethic, and set a good example? Some people can do this while not having the natural skill of an all pro, and I think those other 3 qualities are something they look more into when designating a "captain".

I don't doubt Thomas and his ability to play or be a leader. I'm all for it!

But I did find Herm's statement very vague. I need nouns in his statement I guess.

Jon McGraw has primarily done special teams throughout his career, and coming off of last years stats he's the only one left on the squad that leads in special team tackles. He's a good pick imo.

Dorsey was compared to Ray Lewis thats one of the reasons I really liked the kid. I was hoping he would be the captain.
