I certainly feel better about Thigpen than I did before this game, but I'm not going to dub him a franchise QB or even a servicable QB just yet. But I have to give rep to cdcox for his huge cajones.

If by some minor miracle Thigpen can play well the rest of the year I think you still draft a QB in the Middle Rounds. With our #1 though I go DE, MLB, or WR.

But if Tyler plays well the rest of the year as he did today, DE, OT,WR. You can select a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I was all for giving the kid more time to prove himself, but let's don't go annoiting him the second coming. He played well, but no way should we deviate from thinking BAP next year, even if it's a QB. This thread is somewhat comical.

I don't know about franchise QB, but that was the best play from a Chief QB that I've witnessed since before Trent got his head scrambled. I loved the play of Bowe, Bradley, Gonzo and Cottam. I think the threat of Thigpens legs helps the O line. If he can keep it up, he at least helps the passing game and receivers develope.
