Combining the Chiefs and Lions

What would the record of the Detroit City Leafs or the Kansas Chions be?

Detroit's starting lineup:

HB - Kevin Smith
FB - Jerome Felton
QB - Dan Orlovsky
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Shaun McDonald
TE - Michael Gaines
LT - Jeff Backus
LG - Edwin Mulitalo
C - Dominic Raiola
RG - Stephen Peterman
RT - George Foster
K - Jason Hanson
P - Nick Harris
LE - Jared Devries
LDT - Chartric Darby
RDT - Cory Redding
RE - Dewayne White
LOLB - Ernie Sims
MLB - Paris Lenon
ROLB - Alex Lewis
LCB - Travis Fisher
RCB - Leigh Bodden
SS - Dwight Smith
FS - Daniel Bullocks

I'm not sure who on that team would start for KC. Maybe Raiola at C and Johnson at WR on offense, maybe Foster or Peterman on the right side of the line, though I'm not sure if they're better than ours. Possibly/probably.

On defense, you'd start Dewayne White and Ernie Sims and maybe Paris Lenon. I'm not an expert on the Lions, so feel free to disagree.

How many games would that get us?

Two Tampa 2 stooges as head coach. Last year, Marinelli threw Martz under the bus -- blaming the lack of ball control for the poor defense. This year, they struggle to get first downs, and have a WORSE defense. Sound familiar? Funny thing is, now Herm evidently has rejected his entire coaching philosophy, because now we are the most pass-happy team in the league.

I'd say 12-4...which is ridiculous because if you combined say the Colts and Packers, you'd have the best team in the NFL, easily, and this year those are two mediocre teams.

How is 0-16 tied for the lead when the Chiefs alone have a victory? Would the mere presence of a Detroit Lion on our team make us worse?

Maybe it would give Herm more confidence to run his own system.

haha.. It's sad that our head coach gaining confidence is the worst thing that could happen to our football team.

what is really sad is that if you combined the teams you would have more lions starting than Chiefs.
