Its kind of a deep draft class for safties after all. And Mays needs to come up with more ints this year. He has everything but the ball skills right now. If he can add that then he will defenatly go top 10. Otherwise 17 might be accurate.

I'm not sure where, but I heard if there is no player assoc. deal then players can't be tagged next year.

No CBA agreement means that Cassel becomes a RFA next year. Which means we can high tender him for $2 million and if someone wants him....they have to pay a 1st and a 3rd.

**** Tebow.
Id rather we drafted Carlos Dunlap as OLB/Predator. I dont care if that is 3 years in a row on D/DL in the first. From his size, speed, and increasing talent, he seems to be a must draft type of player. Of course, somebody will be along shortly to tell me how stupid I am for this belief, that is fine.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=090...s&confirm=true http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/...ey-matters-26/ Now, an interesting item to follow is Cassel’s contract status. He can play out this year at $14.65M and either be a restricted free agent next year (if it is uncapped) with a tender number of $16.12M (110 percent of this year’s number) or, if 2010 does have a Cap, an unrestricted free agent or tagged again at a $17.58M number (120 percent of this year’s number). Or, of course, he can work out a deal. With $32.23M in likely guaranteed income without a new deal, Cassel is, shall we say, in a highly favorable economic position. |

Can you say over reaction to a 2010 mock draft put out ridiculously early?

1. There is no way Tebow and Colt McCoy go both in the top ten let alone the first round
2. I WISH MU would have had DJ Moore last season. We could have really used a good CB. |

I would just like to say that I do not know the Kraft/Belichick/Pioli/Meyer connection. If it involves us getting Tebow, I do not want to know about it.
