Life Things to do in Nashville? - Page 2

Will be going to Nashville, Tennessee for a week in middle of Dec. I am looking for things to do with the wife. What are the hot spots to check out? What are the areas to avoid spending $ on?

I'm open to some suggestions.

Also, if there are any CP members in the general area, I may have a little time in my schedule to meet. I know Roy is in Kentucky, if I am not mistaken, but if ya'll not that far off from Nashville?

Plus, it's not terribly expensive. About the same price as Hereford House.

I have heard a lot of good things about the Stockyard, but haven't had the chance to go. I may push the issue next time I'm in town.

You really should. I haven't had a chance to eat there since I moved away, but every time I go, every steak is absolute perfection. I think the Hawaiin ribeye is my favorite.

Stick with downtown, lots to do there.

Good places to eat; Noshville (but the quality has dropped recently in my opinon), Mellow Mushroom, Prince's Hot Chicken (cash only, no debit cards).

Avoid most BBQ joints, Nashville BBQ sucks.

If you like hockey the future KC Monarch, the Nashville Pred play 3 home games in early Dec. Cheapest tickets are $17 now.
