thats just pathetic. c'mon gun. i tried to like this guy, but with all the excuses, jeez. i'm much happier with the todd "no excuses, i don't wanna hear it, get up your not hurt, do it right or ride the pine, now get the f'n job done regardless, mini-parcells" haley. no wonder we were such a joke the past few years.

He's trying to justify how he still is employed in the NFL.

By going to the "I'm the old football guy", he tries to earn a few laughs to cover over his abject failure as a defensive coordinator.

This is just an extension of the tantrum that Gunther threw after his coaching debut in Chicago when Dick Jauron's Bears relied heavily on the wide receiver screen. It was laughable to hear him talking about how it was "unfair" for the Bears to run some kind of college play against his mighty NFL defense...lol...

You "fans" sure turn your back on coaches and players quick around here.

Gun won the afc west title in his 1st season.

Lost a playoff spot the second year because our newly acquired kicker kicked it outa bounds and gave the Raiders the ball on the 35 yd line. It was the last drive the game and the season when Jano hit the winning field goal.

He was the only chefs coach to beat the donks every time he coached against them, here or there.

Like it or not, he is much loved for his effort.

They went 7-9 his 2nd year and they quit in Atlanta.
