I had a couple of generic jerseys as a kid, but not the real thing. My first jersey, which I still wear occasionally, was a Deron Cherry that I got in the late 80s. You can't go wrong with a Deron Cherry jersey.

As an aside, have we always been able to buy Chiefs jerseys? I don't remember ever seeing one when I was a kid, but maybe it's because I lived outside the KC market and the local StuffMart stores didn't carry them.

My Montana was was a knock off from Sears I think. It had the pants the fake pads and the helmet too lol

My first jersey was an authentic DT jersey. I even had some Neil Smith nose strips.
