The Broncos success this season is in part becasue of Tebow; he has N0 future as a QB.

Though I hope those who make the decisions in Denver see it differently.

For the record, I like Tebow the person, but not the QB.

Season success? In spite of.

Tonight's success? Because of.

Future? He'll be one of the most inconsistent QB's in the history of the game. Sort of like "Good Rex, Bad Rex" but with more determination and leadership.

We shouldn't be asking most chiefs fans about the quarterback position. Now, if this were a poll about offensive lineman or tight ends, that would be a different story.

I've liked him since he came into the NFL, not because he just got a playoff win. I don't confuse that with him being a great QB most of the time but he looked damn good on a lot of passes today.

It's actually possible to like a guy even if you don't like the team he plays for and it's actually possible to separate greatness as a player from being a good dude. Being a Chiefs fan has nothing to do with anything... for me at least.

Before today, I think it was due to a mediocre schedule, and even then, they were barely beating teams.... I don't think they were winning because of him, but it seems like he did quite a bit today though.

He's not pretty, and won't ever win a shoot out, but he makes plays when he has to. He's growing on me.

Thing is, you also play totally different defensively if it's not Tebow back there. You don't worry abou the QB as a run threat and so you play straight up D, rush the passer, and double Thomas if needed. Pittsburgh was so intent on stopping the run and keeping Tebow in the pocket that their secondary got schooled. You play that type of D against any QB and you get picked apart. Credit Tebow for taking advantage today. Dick LeBeau got schooled as badly as Ike Taylor...

So why was Tebow successful today? Is it because he is an up and coming star or is it because the Broncos have a decent running game and the Steelers decided to over commit to the run and had a crappy secondary? Do people really think that he can heave it up against any team and have his receivers run under it?

He is not as good as the Tebow lovers claim but he isn't as shitty as the Tebow haters say.

He has progressed to mediocre and had some very well thrown long balls today but he still misses on quick 10 yard slants on a consistent basis. Still too inconsistent to keep winning, IMO.
