What a ****ing ego-maniac. Just as bad (if not worse) than Haley, which is probably why they didn't get along.

For Manning to reject coming to KC, when it's clearly his best option (other than HOU) to win a SB before he hangs them up only says one thing.

It says that players don't want to come here because of 1 of 2 things....

1. The Chiefs are cheap
2. Scott Pioli is an egotistical moron

Can't blame PM for not wanting to come here. I am willing to bet that Pioli low-balled Manning so he can say that he tried. PM probably heard all sorts of shit from his KC-based agent Tom Condon.

It is Mannings decision. If Manning decides he doesn't want to come here that is his choice. It has less to do with us and more to do with him.

Theres a reason media members don't go into press conferences and start berating the coach or GM or whoever, call them liars. It's probably the same reason most employees don't walk into their bosses office and chew them out.

I will wait till he signs and gives his reason for signing where he did before I pass judgement on this situation. I will admit though in 3+ years I am extremely underwhelmed by the Executive of the Decade.

Oh really. You know what is in Peytons mind? Nope didn't think so. People make decisions for a lot of reasons. But mostly it is personal for them and not against anyone else.
Manning will go and do what he wants. He is not stupid. He has to know that his chances are slim to none to ever be in another SB let alone win another one.
