According to Palko's Wikipedia profile page, the 29-year-old backup quarterback is "a former American football quarterback who is currently employed at Payless Shoes in Aberdeen, South Dakota." There has been no confirmation made of the claim, but looking at Palko's numbers from his six starts in 2011 it might be a good career move.

Palko, who has bounced between six different teams, including two CFL franchises, during his five year professional career, completed just 59 percent of his passes while throwing just two touchdowns to seven interceptions during his run as the Chiefs starter.

The profile update may merely be a cruel joke, but taking a second look at his stats Palko should at least be looking for a new profession because, it seems things just aren't working out at quarterback.

Yeah. Guys like Palko try so ****ing hard and never give up but eventually fail in the end because of factors beyond their control such as size, stature, arm strength, childhood coaching, etc. The guy went undrafted and never looked back for 6 years.

JOHNSON COUNTY, KS (KCTV) -- Tyler Palko, a former quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, was arrested Sunday in Johnson County, Kansas.

According to the Johnson County Detention Bureau's Booking and Release report, 37-year-old Palko was booked into the jail at 12:15 a.m.

According to the report, he was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).

He posted a $1,300 cash bond and released just after 5 a.m.

No further details regarding the situation that led up to his arrest are available yet.
