Soooo rebuild..

Besides the obvious front office changes that need to be made and finding a franchise QB, how far is KC personnel wise from contending for playoffs / how long will it take to become contenders?

It doesn't ****ing matter.

You get a QB you can win.

That's all that ****ing matters, people.

Only reason we think we have to spend more money is because we're trying to compensate for shitbag.

def need a new RB and TE, a couple of new LBers(at least one young MLBer with potential)/pass rushers, new d-line, some new o-line, and at least a new CB and new safety.

Easy to answer. How long before the Chiefs draft a franchise QB? Once that happens, pretty much that year and for the foreseeable future if he hits.

My point is that I think people focus on the other core of this team and you hear "windows opening & closing" and I think it's all BS. Your window is open as long as you have that QB. That's it.

It is without a doubt the most important position on the field and the one that truly determines post-season success.

It's all up to Hunt and what he wants to spend. We are **** forever until he opens his wallet. We can bring in Reid, Cowher, Gruden, or whoever. They'll still have to to work around Hunts budget. This is out main problem right now.

So now it's not Pioli's fault because Hunt told him he can't spend any money?

Where did you get this?

It's both their faults. Pioli's for not drafting a QB and Hunts for always having the most cap space year to year. You lost bro?

I'm so happy we didn't attempt to get Fisher.

I would say that most teams are a QB away from competing in the playoffs and for championships. That's why its hard to take KC seriously, regardless of overall talent level...Cassel is a complete turd of an NFL QB.

Teams like Atlanta/Detroit didn't magically become good through years of great drafting...they became good because they drafted Matt Ryan/Matt Stafford and had a good young nucleus around him.

Anyway, as a Bronco fan, I've had the up close and personal experience of the failure that is anything Patriots outside of Belichick/Brady. Hell, Belichick himself was pretty much average to below average until Brady came along. The long list of failures that have benefited from suckling Brady's teat is mindboggling at this point.

Crennel, McDaniels, Pioli, Mangina, Weiss...when will people learn that the Patriots success is due to having a Hall of Fame QB at the reigns?

So keep the punter and safety?

This team doesn't need to re-build.

Get a new QB.

I would blow up the defensive line with the exception of Poe.

New LG.

I would replace Belcher.

Sign some safety depth.

Add another pass rusher.

Get another #2 WR.

Have some class, we're guests here. We're also a hit away from Osweiler at QB so watch the bad mojo talk.
