I can't imagine how embarrassing it would be to be a Jaguars fan. They've only won one playoff game since 2000, and haven't been in a conference championship game since 1996. Talk about failure.

I think that it's way too early to give up on Gabbert although I agree that they'll probably draft a QB.

Gabbert's young. He had horrible coaching last year and he's getting some this year and has shown improvement.

If he's cut, I'd take him in a heartbeat. He may never turn out but he'd be dirt cheap on the wire and definitely worth the time to develop.

I wouldn't give up anything for him but I'd certainly nab him off the waiver wire.

The Jaguars have far less talent than the Chiefs and their coaching staff isn't much better. Gabbert's a guy that has shown some promise and anytime you can get a Top Ten QB for free, you should do it.

That said, I doubt they give up on him so soon.

I agree. I just think new leadership will want their own guy at QB. I'd take a flier on Gabbert in a heartbeat.
