Your turn to play John Dorsey

With the 2013 draft in the books, how would you have picked if you were in the Chiefs position. You have to take the Alex Smith deal, and no Branden Albert deal, who would you have picked in each of the Chiefs drafts spots?

I now have the following picks, and use them so:

1.7 - WR Tavon Austin
2.34 - QB Geno Smith
2.38 - DE Margus Hunt
3.63 - TE Travis Kelce
3.96 - DE William Gholston
4.99 - LB Nico Johnson
4.103 - S Shamarko Thomas
5.134 - WR Ryan Swope
6.170 - RB Kenjon Barner
6.204 - FB Tommy Bohanon
7.207 - QB Zac Dysert

Look at that ****ing goddamn haul.

I've addressed QB.

I've addressed WR.

The DL is LOADED with athletic freaks.

I've added the perfect complement to Eric Berry.

I've got a potential starter at ILB and at TE.

I've got the perfect true fan developmental WR, who also happens to be an extreme badass who runs like a ****ing gazelle.

I've got a really nice backup RB (that isn't a brokedick, and isn't picked too high) who is going to rape faces on the same field with Tavon Austin and Jamaal Charles.

And last but not least...holy shit, I took TWO QBs in the same draft, something this dumbass mother****ing franchise has never heard of, let alone contemplated.

Oh, I've still got my 2nd round pick in 2014.

**** Alex Smith. **** Eric Fisher. And most of all...**** John Dorsey.

I am the way and the light. Bump this post in three years, and drop to your knees.
You don't watch college football, but you think you're smarter that Dorsey?

Well this doesn't make any sense. We should be seeing some Geno or Sharrif at 1.1

If I'm Dorsey, here's the moves I still need to make:
-Continue to fish around for a Branden Albert trade in exchange for a first or second round pick in 2014
-Trade a very late pick for Nick Foles. Keep him as your #3 guy and move Bray to the practice squad
-Round out our offensive line. If Albert is traded, sign either Tyson Clabo, Winston Justice, or Sean Locklear. All are cheap veterans we can stopgap
-Sign a Center. Dan Koppen could be a good stopgap

Why sign Koppen as a stopgap when we already have Hudson at C?

We could always use depth and I thought I've heard Hudson's recovering pretty slowly from injury. Koppen isn't going to cost anything. This signing almost makes too much sense.

I heard Hudson was recovering just fine.

I would think Koppen would want to sign somewhere to start.

He was mostly a spot starter last year with the Broncos. It's not a bad situation for him at this stage of his career. We really don't know what we have in Hudson so Koppen still has a good chance to compete for a starting job. Worst case, we desperately need Center depth and he can keep a job for a few more years. Good situation for both Koppen and the Chiefs.

I take it, his time with the Packers. They were never known for their RBs.

At one time the Packers had good RB's but it has been just the last few years they have fallen off in that department. It is apparent they are trying to fix that problem through the draft with Lacy/Franklin.
