I already said that I haven't seen most of the best pictures, so it's not like I'm saying it should have won it all. But the hate for the movie to me is just a bunch of hipster BS.

How is Gravity NOT an innovative movie? It didn't follow a standard plot template. It was every bit about the experience just as it was the movie. In its effort to become as realistic as possible, it actually got a lot of things right about being an astronaut. It had a TWO person cast. I mean, when's the last time you saw a best picture movie that had that few people in it? The Pianist?

Again, you don't have to masturbate to the movie and you don't even have to enjoy it. But come the **** on, it's not innovative? Some of the people on Twitter have been acting like the movie may as well have been ****ing Pacific Rim.
