Unruly passenger in airplane

Watch this video: http://news.yahoo.com/video/unruly-p...001607829.html

It said that there were 8000 cases like that happened in 2013.

Have you guys come across such experience in flight?

What ticks off these people?

What possesses people to act like idiots like that? A mind-blowing sense of entitlement? Are they all drunk? Even if they are drunk, I can't imagine being drunk and acting like that. Then again I can't imagine anything that could possibly happen on an airplane that would cause me to shout and rave.

You have to be kind of stupid to lose total control of yourself in an airplane because you KNOW you are getting arrested. Having said that some flight attendants are straight up assholes and don't help matters :-/

But then again I am not a lifetard when I get on an airplane either... But most broke dicks feel that when they purchase and airline ticket that they automatically become someone or something of importance. No you are not important you are a still a lifetard broke dick on a plane.. Shut your low rent ass, take your drink and peanuts and shut the **** up...

The amount of stupid I have sat next too on plane is dumbfounding.

Last flight I was on a few years ago they made us wait after landing to remove a passenger who ignored the no smoking rule. While he wasn't unruly, I'm sure he probably got a big fine.

I've only had it happen once and I've probably flown a thousand times.

Flying from SAN to DEN on a 10:00am flight. A man and woman get on the plane very late in the boarding process. He sits in Row 1 and she sits behind me in Row 4. After taking off she starts yelling his name. He just raises his hand up. The flight attendant kept coming up to her and whispering. She eventually settled down and was quiet. It turns out she was very drunk and passed out. When we landed, the FA woke her up and told her she wasn't going to be allowed on the next leg of her journey.

Pretty mild, really. But, HTF do you get blitzed that early in the morning?

Speaking of drinking and planes we once flew Southwest to Vegas on St Pat's Day.A sold out flight, last flight of the day and pretty much everyone already hammered and somewhere over Denver they announce there's not one drop of booze left on the plane.

No one got unruly but if there was ever a possibility.

Southwest 358: Denver Center, Southwest 358

Denver Center: Go ahead Southwest 358

Southwest 358: Roger, we have a bunch of drunk assholes up here heading to Vegas, they are cause quite an issue with the flight crew. One guy keeps calling himself Ozoner or something and says he knows how make flaming aids shots , requesting vectors and assistance.

Denver Center: Southwest 358 change call sign to Con Air 1 and squawk 3541

Southwest: Changing call sign squawking 3541

Denver Center: Con Air 1 change heading to 180 and change routing to read. Direct from present position joining Ironhorse NDB approach into Fremont County, expect radar vectors next sector.

Con Air (formally southwest): Roger, left 180, direct to Ironhorse NDB.

Ozoner (formally Nzoner) gets off plane, looks around...... This is Vegas?

So how did the story end? Did you call her?

I've told the story before, but my only unruly flight story is from many years ago, back when Southwest had the rows of seats facing each other. My boss at the time and I ended up sitting across from a guy who had lost both legs and one arm when trying to jump aboard a freight train as a hobo. He was suing the freight train company, because of course this was clearly their fault, and he was on his way to the trial or some other legal meeting.

He was not quite lucid and was ordering alcoholic beverages and claiming that my boss was a celebrity, so when we had a stopover in Phoenix we switched seats at my boss's request. Personally, I found the guy entertaining.

Apparently on the next leg of the flight the alcohol started kicking in and he ended up hitting a flight attendant with his one remaining arm, so they kicked him off when they landed. I don't know if he was arrested or anything. I never even noticed anything happening, and I think we found out from the stewardesses or something.
