I like Bart, Maggie, and Lisa. Those are good names.

You want good standalone names. Sadly, cats have finite life spans, and you don't want to give them "group names" where it'll be obvious that part of the group is missing if one of them lives longer than the others. For example, Hop, Skip, and Jump would be bad.

But "group names" are fine as long as each one is a high quality standalone name. Archie, Veronica, and Betty could be good. Or maybe go with group names that are themed but independent, such as Thor, Persephone, and Venus.

I also think it's good to treat them each as individuals and give them the names that best suit their personality and dignity. For example, Winston, Guinevere, and Marilyn.

As always, The Rain Man comes throu again. Good ideas. If we lose Bart (male cat) which we will (we have not had good experience with male cats) can choose Homer for the next one. That is what we did with the Flinestones. Barney, Betty, Fred and Wilma. All the Orange Tabbies were named Fred. We went thru 4 Freds. Those Orange tabbies were a HOOT. Miss those dudes.

I have put up with my fair amount of cats issues. But my mancave and garage are off limits, unless I choose. Damn, I don't want anymore cats thou. Buy a barn

I did NOT want anymore cats. Been there done that with Barn cats...but was over ruled. We did save 3 lil lives, THAT WILL STAY IN THE BARN. I have two places that are my own in my house: the mancave (which I should post pics of...super cool) and my garage. The barn is nice, great place for horses and such....dogs just got moved down there and cats.

We do have a house cat named "Drugs"(female real name is Paula, the way she acts = Drugs)...won't go into that except tried moving a barn cat up into the house. Drugs didn't like it very well and sprayed, won't even say where 'cause most CP dudes would have kilt her. I was VERY close.

thanks for the reasonable ideas.

Gotcha. I am lucky to be living out in the country with lots of space and a BARN. God forbid if I lived in town.

Thus I am lucky to a degree..

Having outdoor cats is a hobby of mine.
Seems people drop them off in the neighborhood and I adopt them.
We always neuter or spade them.
My favorite cat, who recently died, was a one eared cat which we named Van Gough. She was a dam nice cat. She didn't know how to meow, I like quite, so that is good.
I just let the Grandkids name them, and they are pretty good at it.
Right now we have:

Sampson
Flufferton
Princess Meowgi
and Dark Knight
