Don't get old alone

My Dad and Mother in Law are alone. Few visitors and far too much boredom. Days are filled with nonody around. I highly recommend you not meet this fate.

Love you my brothers and yes the drinks have flown well tonight but that doesn't mean I'm wrong.

Mrs. BFish is much more social than I am. I hope I go before her, because life without her would be too much to bear.

I'm sure there are pros and cons of growing old alone or with someone. The older I get the more I enjoy doing things on my own and I don't feel like I have to entertain anyone just to make them happy when all I really want to do is go fishing and be left alone.

What I've discovered is that if you're over 30 with any relationship failing to last at least a year: you're probably best off being alone.

Goatsie, if I knew you as the person you are on this board and found out my daughter was dating you (we're about the same age by the way so good luck with that) I'd humiliate you so bad in front of her that she would never look you in the eye again.

You're a pretty vile human being.

Have you ever considered therapy to try to figure out why you act the way you do?

I don't want an answer just because that's as much dirt as I'll bring to the lounge.

If you haven't, I'd seriously consider.

Alone is fine, desirable even.

Lonely is the problem.

Act what way?

I'm a fairly well adjusted human being.

You just think CP = real life

If it's not you sure go out of your way to inject your real, pathetic life into CP every chance you get.

If you're not an only child with a beta father and an over-compensating mother I'll eat my new hat.

I mean, no. Your post is so wrong on all levels.

Nothing pathetic about my life. Stable, employed, taxpaying American. Never been in trouble with the law.

Parents married for 40 years, one of three kids. Mom stayed at home, dad worked, opposite of beta.

A few dating issues due to being a late bloomer but nothing pathetic about that. I've had a decent share of sex/relationships considering. I've really only been "on the market" for five years and 2.5 of that has been spent in exclusive relationships.

Get over CP. And yourself.

Well, seeing who I said I'd eat my hat to I feel no obligation to honor my word.

You're pathetic.
