Romo was calling out Spags and others....

Did anyone else catch Romo talking about how Spags has not shut down any team's #1 WR this season?

He was also getting on the Chiefs and the Bills to a lesser extent for not running the ball more.

I haven't figured out the Spags approach yet and I am curious if Spags has figured it out himself? We are never in position to challenge passes. Our pass rush is weak. We have 1 interception all season.

Today I watched a play where Sneed literally dropped almost 10+ yards off of his guy only to watch Allen throw right to that person for a good gain.

I won't get into running the ball or the lack thereof but if we don't start we are going to get Mahomes killed.

Injuries are an issue in our secondary, I agree, but we seem to consistently give up 5 yards unless it's a bad pass or the WR drops it.

diggs had 100 yards against 4th and 7th round rookies???? :o

I don't know. It seems like he's just trying to be as unpredictable as possible. Playing the "bend but don't break" shit mixed in with a spattering of "send the kitchen sink" and waiting for the offense to hopefully make a mistake or hold them to a FG.

It's frustrating to watch but it's kinda worked out so far.

I've gotten to where I can't stand Romo. The TD at the end of the first half should have been called back as the Bills Receiver got separation from a big push off. I guess they evened out the call later when they called it on Kelce.

Getting pressure from your expensive four defensive linemen will make the entire defense look better. Other teams have been able to get consistent pressure on Allen however he was standing around mostly unmolested most of the night. Jones needs some help out there...

**** Romo he is not coaching. He is just a game-day mouth who changes direction like the wind.

Some of this early season stuff just strikes me as typical pain you have to go through in getting some of these players ready to come up big time later in the season. That said, like others have mentioned, this defense didn't do terrible today. I actually think our DB's can handle more tight man coverage than we ran today. But they're all young and they're going to make mistakes. McDuffie, Gay and possibly Fenton might have been the difference in stopping one of the TD drives today. That's all it would have taken.

First time in three meetings that Diggs has gotten loose on Spags defense. But only one other receiver got more than 50 yards today.

I said before the game we need to have long drives and play shell coverage until they get to the Redzone and then buckle down. Spags plan was great. Only real deficiency was a 7 round rookie barely getting beat on two throws. Otherwise their offense had to work hard for it's points and take some 4th down chances. I think I will like where our defense will be in 6-7 more weeks...

I am not saying we have the best players in the world but our scheme seems rather soft most of the time compared to a lot of other teams you watch.
You should watch the Raiders defense. The only thing we run is the soft zone. Buffalo would score 40+ on the Raiders defense.

I would kill for Spags.

FYP...Clark isn't a starter in this league, he's a smaller shittier Dee Ford. Bolton ain't that good either, yall can believe what you want but singletary was getting +5 ypc. Gay is athletic but a headcase. Turk is dead, Jones is somewhat neutered by the league. Karlaftis might be good after a couple of years in the nfl conditioning program but he's not going to be jj watt, or tj or a Bosa anytime soon. Khalen Saunders is probably our best DL outside of jones and only Meck predicted this and honestly, it shouldn't be this way.
