Bills’ Dion Dawkins chirps Patrick Mahomes ahead of div-round matchup: ‘Good luck'

The Bills finally have Patrick Mahomes on their turf.

And they’re doing some chirping.

“(Mahomes has) only been here once. So, he’s never been here. Simple as that,” Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins said, according to ESPN. “Pat has never been to the Bills stadium in full. … The environment will be different, and not to say it’s in our favor, but stadium is our favor. Stadium is us. That helps us. I don’t care what nobody says.

“This is the most dopest feeling I’ve ever had. We’re having two back-to-back playoff games home. (Um, didn't they have that last year?) Come on now, like we get to leave and go eat wings. It’s cool. So good luck.”

Sports history is littered with “when keeping it real goes wrong” moments and Dawkins could come to regret these comments come Sunday night.

I'm already pissed off that Taylor will be starting. That dumbass is perfectly capable of costing the Chiefs the game.

They piped in crowd noise for that game. Big disconnect as the fake noise didn't always match what was happening (or just happened) on the field. As I remember, at least they didn't have the cardboard cutouts in the stands. That was so sad.

Listened to the clip and it's kind of a nothingburger. Basically just saying the Bills have a great home field advantage and Mahomes hasn't played in that environment. As with most of these pressers you can't hear the question he is responding to but guessing it was something about Mahomes.

The hate for is runs deep. We have ripped their hearts out twice. Weather the first have storm with a close score and we can take them out again. We must play with same type of hate. Get it from somewhere.

He still mishandled it. Allen would not have answered that type of question in the manner Dawkins chose to answer it. You can say "we have a great home field advantage. It will be interesting to see how it goes." And just leave it there.

Dawkins is a nice player for them... Jersey guy. From the little town of Rahway. Been there a couple of times passing by that little train station. The great Carl Sagan grew up in Rahway, btw. With all that said, he is talking a lot of shit that he won't back up come Sunday.

Bet a few bucks on the game already. But if the Buffalo mayor chimes in with something snarky on PMII before the game, I'm betting everything I own on the Chiefs to win.
