Purdue has underperformed in the tourney the past few years, not sure I would want Painter. I think Mizzou has to decide who their guy is, and what they want out of him. If they want a coach to just be above average, make the tourney more often than not, etc., they there will be a lot of good choices out there. If they want to try to get some like Bill Self, etc. that can take the program to the next level, they then have to decide on who that is, and then back up a money truck. I would start with the Butler coach at 3.25 million a year, and make sure there is a huge buyout clause built in for when Indiana comes calling.
