That is a famously invisible cast. The Chiefs second team OL is miles behind first team performers.

Jalil Brown has been impressive playing in place of injured Brandon Flowers.

If Bellamy comes on, I suspect that Hemmingway will develop a nagging injury that lands him on IR, ala Gabe Miller last year.

The only reason I was not a big fan of Brett Favre. I am only running alongside Stanzi's bandwagon mainly because of this. I much prefer a methodical QB style to a gun slinging one. My heart cannot take many roller coasters of excitement and disappointment in a game.

One thing I have noticed and keep forgetting to mention; Brandon Albert has lost more weight and is moving laterally much beter this season. His kick step looks efficient now and he is playing with much better leverage during lateral movement. Maybe RT Winston has helped Brandon with his technique, is what I'm thinking. Winston, btw, is a solid tackle as many of you know. He's a very polished player and should be among the best players on the team this season.

This is something I talked about regarding Albert.

Herman ****ing Edwards and his staff seemed content to let Albert put on weight and simply lean on his man rather than actually working on technique.

It worked out ok with that offense, but he wasn't really benefitting from it.

Haley came in nd demanded from the start that his players be in shape and work with good technique, and Albert struggled mightily that first season with it.

Last year, you could see the progress, but you could also see he was still thinking too much about proper techniqe, and he was often times taking longer, wider steps, which got his feet out of position, and his base too wide.

I expect with continued repetition and work, he should be on track this season to have a monster year.

He'll be reacting rather than thinking and his natural quickness will really shine.
